Again it has to be an iPad thing..

I see the original smilies, but just see about 50 boxes with blue question marks.. I have closed out of Safari, done a shutdown and reboot..

Avish, Boys, thoughts?

Edit:

Found the answer under look and layout.  Just have to select whichever smily set works..

Gotta start thinking this throught before asking.. :icon_rolleyes: :icon_safesex:

I too am using overviewlight as my "skin", I like the looks of it from a thread aspect.  But I don't like the way the forums are "boxed" when I click on forum...just me, I guess.  No biggie.

We added the column look to the OverviewLight theme.  It was different.  It also depends on which browser you're using on how it looks.

As far as the icons, I have not found the original "pack" of smilies that were installed back in '05 when the site was born.  I copied the smilies from the old site and added them here hoping that the blank smilies would be replaced in threads.  Avish and I are still looking at this.  We shall succeed.
Dave, you're correct.  I set permissions so that you can choose the smilie set you want to use.  SMF is very flexible.  I put the original smilies in the smilies_orig set and I can see 90% of them but I need to figure out why the other 10% are just words.
All in time.......

Well the "Upload" button has disappeared from the Gallery.

Hang on Lars, we'll get it back. Must have taken a union lunch.

I see that there is a new group called "Community Member" (look below your avatar).  I changed the settings for that group and the Registered Members groups.  Let's see if that works now.

Edit: I tested it using my ricktest normal member and the upload seems to be working ok.  Let me know if it's not for you.

Buying a small keg of Kulmbacher is still on my to do list.  Have to start back to work next week so I have to start "drying out" after this extended holiday  :drunken_smilie1:

Yesterday I could see all the smileys, today only a handful of them.

Yeah, there is an issue there.  Avish and I are working it.  Just not an easy one to crack.
If I didn't have to worry about the original set it would be easy.

A lot going on with the look and layout tab....

Noticed on Ricks post with the three pics that when I hit the "New" button on the home page that it opened to the BOTTOM of the posted pics.  I have dyslexia to some extent, but don't read backwards or bottom to top..

Anyway, the fix was deselecting "new post on top" in the look and layout tab..

Was 18F last night when the snow started, 8" of nice dry snow on the ground at 05:00 that I can move with a broom. The freezing rain started at 5:30 and now it's just rain...  Eddie has a bag packed and was last seen making a sign that says "Florida or Bust" :icon_rolleyes:

Well Dave, windy as hell today, but forecast for a high of 79.  But I think we'll see 82...sorry about that!

Is there a way to add either a Home or Top of Page button? That was a super convenient way to navigate on the old form..

If there is an option, I would think jumping to the home page would be the way to go..

Eddie doesn't like it but at least the snow will pack so the snowmachine track  will not tear up the grass! The little dude just needs to figure out he's not in Pennsylvania any more :icon_cyclops_ani:....

There is a home button already but I think you are really referring to a top of page button?  The home button takes you to the portal page.  I will check and see if there is a mod for the top of page button.
