got my trim tabs this afternoon, will probably start installing them on my lunch break at work tomorrow, and complete over the next couple days so the'll be ready for my weekend(monday and tuesday)
just like a kid on Christmas when opening/digging through the box :bounce:

Back when I had a job that gave me off during the week, I really took it for granted.  Boating with the weekend crowds is a drag- that's if you can find a spot at the ramp

when i was covering the night shift(security) in the marina last spring, i went out on my parents boat on the weekend a couple times before work, i forgot how much i hated boating on weekends...

Pretty cool.

I just received the EIC5000 control for my units. Will be installing tonight and tomorrow for use this weekend.

Equally excited.

Currently have the joystick control with no indication which is absolutely the worst setup I have ever used....with indicators it would be just OK .

Now, with dual switches and indicators trimming out should be a breeze .

The threads on the Hydraulic Power Unit are 7/16 - 24 UNS-2A

Is there a West Marine near you?  They carry our Nut and Ferrules.

There is one but they only have a few actuators and one pump. I haven't seen the fittings.

worked the night shift today, gave me enough time to get the tabs done in the morning took about 3-1/2 hours... went along pretty smooth, just need to top off the trim pump in the morning... anywho... i cant wait to test these things out!!! :bounce:

oh and please ignore the dirty bottom , the boat's been in the water for the last month, been putting a few hours every couple days on her... hey, atleast she's gettin used
