Closed Transom mod w/ Outboard bracket on a ‘96 200

Has anyone closed in the transom and installed a motor bracket on a AQUASPORT 200 CC ? Is this even a good idea?

Just to clarify, CCPs were not manufactured in 96 so I'lll assume you are asking about a 200 Osprey (LOA 19-6).
That stated yes, we have seen several of the Hialeah built 19-6 hull enclosed with a bracket/platform. I don't recall seeing a Genmar hull (200) but see no reason one could not be done.
