JG, just came back from the store, not much info on the packaging, under the lid was a mention of Nuova Rade Victory

But found a site that carries them, like mine 12''

Marq, thanks very much for the effort in trying to find out which manufacturer those are.  I've been looking high and low and can't quite find them.  I think it's a BOMAR, but i'm not sure based solely on internet pix.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

I was in the middle of editing my post and my wife called me away before I could click submit - I looked back and saw it was not gelcoat. Still looks good.

Beauty!

I was glad to see the teak gunwale caps with hawse pipes.  I was trying to envision the same on mine.

nice job.

The coaming boards (hey GF ;)) that I made  are actually  mock ups and they are made out of red cedar, wasn't sure how it would look and didn't want to chance it using teak which is so $$$. They were not obvious to make, the top of the gunwale is not at a 90 degree angle and length wise has a slight curve to it. Now that I like the look of it and when I'm finished installing the hardware on it, I will redo it using something like mahogany and copying what I have now. The mock ups cost me 20 bucks to make

Did you have to wedge between the top of the transom and coaming boards for the angle change or did you pull the board into submission with a screw?  How thick is the wood?

I love the look.

For one coaming board it took one 5"1/2x56"x1/2" and 2"1/2x56"x1/2" so the top became 6" wide and I had to  wedge between the top of the transom and coaming boards 3/8"

Also, to compensate for the slight curve of the gunwale , I shaved 1/4" out of 1/2 for 16" long towards the front on the 2"1/2x56" , so from the front the side plank looks like it's only a 1/4" thick, I find that it makes the coaming board less boxy looking
