70's 22-2, Capacity Plate worn out
« on: July 26, 2022, 12:38:55 PM »
Hello,
I've got an older (70's?) aquasport 22-2 and am wondering if anyone can help me track down the capacity ratings or how I could get a new capacity plate for the boat?
I tried to highlight what I could make out but it's really worn down.

Thanks in advance!

Greetings Tedshere,

I have essentially the same boat, registered as a 1973, with the exception that mine was originally powered by a 165 hp Mercruiser I/O (Chevy 250 CI 6-cyl). My capacity plate  reads max load 1500 lbs, max hp 200.

Everyone, that's only true if you try to attached a photo directly to your post. If you upload it first to your personal Photo Gallery on this Forum and then attach it, size is unlimited.

By using the Gallery, you can share with other members and in this particular case a photo of the cap. plate can then be placed in our Resource Forum where other 22-2 owners may find also.

Thanks rocket88 for helping Tedshere out too! :salut:

To help - If you want to post a pic when you talk about your boat, which you should, follow the instructions here http://classicaquasport.com/smf/index.php?topic=12725.0  - don't attach them - you are limited by file size. Uploading them into your "member gallery" is better for viewing.
Spend a few minutes to absorb the instructions. It's really easy. Remember if using a phone to take pics, to hold the phone horizontal with the lens to the left.
