Well, minor setback.
The clutch went on the truck hauling the items out west.
Not a big deal to me, will be here soon enough.
Looks like after the weekend though.

Scotty, with how busy I am right now, I am fine with it.
Bill, the shipper seems like a real nice guy and has been very open with communications two or three times a day.
I told him not to worry at all, I am buried with work.
I have filled my schedule until late spring at this point.
I keep some days open for my time off.
I am fine with a small delay.
No worries at all.

The are heading this way finally, after a complete clutch job.
Bill the shipper has been really great.
He contacts me a couple of times a day and keeps me posted and up to date.
He said the clutch is better however, he will be going back a third time for adjustments.
(After the CA trip).
Anyway, should be here on tuesday
I will keep you guys posted

Scotty, the funny thing about all this.
Bill the shipper called or emailed me several times a day.
He apologized profusely several times.
I told him that I wont be doing the switch till after the 1st of the year.
I guess some of the customers climbed all over him.
I don't care if it is next week or next month.
I think Lewis is more concerned than I am :)
He is just a stand up guy and worried about the delivery.

Exactly. As long as they arrive with TLC and in their baby carriages.....you're golden

Lew...no worries. The packaging job was professional. Sweet work :thumright:

Those motors will get there just fine.  I've uncrated hundreds of motors, the way Lewis and the seller have them crated up, ain't a damn thing gonna happen to them short of the truck doing a barrel roll...

Even then, they'd probably be fine...maybe upside down, but fine! :thumright:

Bill, the shipper called me tonight.
He is about a day and 1/2 away now.
I should see the outboards Thursday pm.
He is going to San Diego first.
He will loop up here then back to the East Coast.
So far so good.

Well,
after a couple of weeks and delays, the motors have arrived here in excellent shape
I thank Lewis for the awesome packaging job and Bill the shipper for the careful delivery.
I had a couple of my workers to help unload them.
As we strained and grunted, Bill lifted like no big deal.
He is a great guy and is willing to help any of us on moving Boats, engines or parts.
I am going to have him bring me out a Cobia style tower next month.

Here we are in front of the house.

Yes, I knew Lewis was getting nervous :)
All joking aside, he did an excellent job packaging them up.
They arrived perfect.
