Newer AS Owners Need Love, Too
« on: March 04, 2005, 10:19:31 PM »
I have owned and run a 97 225 Osprey CC w/225 Ocean Runner since it was new.
I bought it because I had always admired the rep/ looks/lines and longevity of Aquasports.
It's getting enough age and use on it now that I'd really like to compare notes with other owners of similar model years, and this would seem like a great place to do that if it doesn't go contrary to the spirit of the forum.
I've paid my dues maintaining and running an older boat. I had an early 70's WC V-20 CC that I ran offshore for 12 or so years before I got the new AS, so I can really relate to all of the issues discussed here.
I would hope this cool site can be of benefit to everyone that owns an Aquasport. After all, the way time flies, it won't be long until mine's a classic, too.

These guys and their new boats thinking they can run up on us even in the forums.  J/k.  I think in some circles 97 is already a classic.  Welcome aboard.
