Opinions, Pennzoil 2-stroke synthetic blend
« on: May 23, 2007, 09:37:58 AM »
I buy it at .....mart and it is much cheaper than Johnson oil. Yet I too heard that their store brand, is too Pennzoil. Hmmmmmmm well, any thoughts? Our motor runs great.

That is what I run in my old motors.  If they were new, I would probably go with the manuf. recommendation.

I was at Boat US a week or so ago and they had a sale on their oil - one of the salesmen told me that most of what they had in stock were made by Texaco - and they varied in price from $29.95 for a 2.5gal to 50+ for the "brand names".  I bought the $29.95 jug and they were all synth blends too.
