The coffin box on the 200ccp is smaller then the one on the 222ccp. The 222ccp box has a front compartment, that the 200ccp doesn’t have. At least, my 222ccp has it and a friend that has the 200 ccp doesn't.

A few more pics from Saturday.  Bob said the transom should be finished this week, my new coffin box ready to paint flag blue and build up primer sprayed from the rubrail in.  Sorry I forgot the name of that primer.  Then he will be ready to shoot the inside next week.  He is great to work with and very reasonable.  Trust me I know what these others charge and have seen some of their "under-sole" work and materials they use.  Finish is nice, but well you all know.  If you have the time and are planning a rebuild you should give him a look.  For instance, he came up with the idea of having a removable livewell for the motor peeps to have room to rig and to later on have easy access to clean and maintain the pumps and such!  Check the pics out and I'll keep everyone up to date as more come available.

Rough fitting the top of livewell from mold he made.  Livewell will have a lip to drop in here.



Looking down inside where livewell will be.   There will also be door on front of this but you can see how much room I'll have.  All this inside will be glassed.  He is also going to glass stands to the Inside/Side here where bottom of livewell will sit to relieve some strain of top lip.

What will be around the edge of the sole where that lip is?  Teak?

Hey Rick. Not sure what lip you are talking about. Maybe the bottom of the transom cap where it meets the floor?  That's not glassed in yet. Just placed there for pictures. It will all be seemless

Maybe it's a fig-newton of my imagination. :sunny: ..if you look at the pic of the custom drain you see brown to the left and what looks like a lip at the top of the brown and that lip seems to be all the way around the boat.  Maybe it's a ledge that was ground down?

Looking good nice to see some progress. please take some good pictures of the plumbing of the livewell.

I like the scuppers going out the sides. I was thinking of doing that but my factory rigging pipes look like they would be in the way.

For the access to the livewell are they going to make a hatch and door or use a plastic pre-made hatch?

Yes that is just where they ground down the Gelcoat to bring the floor glass up the side.  There is also that lip on all old aquasports above that.

They make that access hole from a mold out of epoxy and glass and will do the same to the top! I know how to plumb livewells so I will take plenty of pics for you.

The mold was already made.  They us it on their big boat.  Here are a few more pics from last week.  Transom will all be glassed in this week and hopefully inside primed with High-Build.  I have a finish date of 11-15-2012 to take to the Honda Dealership.

Wow, I can really see the light at the end of the tunnel now.  1st coat of Hi-Build sprayed, transom enclosed, thru-hulls finished, t-top and electronics box finished just need lights mounted, lean post and storage box finished.  Ready to sand and spray 2nd coat of hi-build then paint!  Enjoy the pictures:



Seaforce always throws in little things I don't ask for like the door for this electronic box!!
