Battery Charger install -- Finally complete!

After much debate (and discussion with CA members), I finally made a place to mount my 5/5 amp charger in my 1997 225 Osprey.  Thought about mounting it where my livewell pump was located, but that would have required too much movement of wiring and plumbing, and getting my drill in that tiny door on the port side of the transom would have proved quite challenging.

Instead I moved the fuse box and ground block over about 2 inches, on the starboard side, and mounted the charger next to the battery switch.  I'll run the cord down the inside of the starboard gunwale, and cut a hole for the plug, once I get a 1-7/8" hole saw bit.  It will be much more than the required 21" away from the charger, batteries, fuel, etc.

Very good choice, GD!  Beats the hell out of that location you had previously thought of.  BTW, I had to wire, mount, and plumb that pump through that "tiny" door you speak of...but I mounted the door, and frame, after I was done!!!

How in god's name did you get a drill in there to make your pilot holes??  That was my biggest obstacle, and the main reason for finding a place on the starboard side, where I had a nice big access door to work with!!  
But now that it's done, I like having all the electrical "stuff" on one side, in the one door.

I'm thinking of putting a charger in the same place during my winter re-wire project. Does anyone have any idea what the four circuits are that are enclosed in that fuse box in the photo? I have the same one in the same location in my 245 Explorer and will probably replace it with a new blade type box.

Damn, if I remember correctly, Trim Tabs, Helm power, Stereo Memory, and auto bilge (float switch).  If you have a factory installed batt switch, stereo memory and bilge constant hot will be powered off of batt 1 post, tabs and helm power off of common.
