What is Value (resonable selling price) 19-6 1973

What should I ask for my baby.
I am approaching 80 and fishing by myself is getting difficult.  I need to sell my 1973 19-6 Aquasport.  Boat has been in dry storage all its life.  Transom is solid, deck is solid, fuel line and tank are good and have been maintained.  Hull has a few scratches, but is still as solid as it was on day one.  Lots of bay and offshore fishing through the years.  Railing recently replaced and is solid.  Twin (2) 1973 Johnson 65 hp.  Motors have been well maintained.  Compression 90-100.   Radio and depth finder.  Boat in Houston TX, bay area.   What value should I place on the boat.

My $.02
I would price it reasonably but knowing that a 196 is the perfect size boat for 4-5 people and can be easily handled single handed, that size boat is sought after. As long as she is in great condition, as you stated,  $10-15k is where I would start and it should move fast. Especially if it is ready to take out and fish. You would not be trying to gouge anyone but instead, giving them a decent price. Does it come on a trailer?

just my opinion, I'd think most potential buyers will look at this as needing a repower. If the rest of the boat is truly solid ready to go & shows well then $8000 would be fair, would start the sale around $11,000 and come down from there. A good used trailer might add $1000 to the value.

I bet that has been a sweet boat. My uncle had a 1967 tri hull Thunderbird with twin 50 Evinrude's Electric shift! Mine is a 98 200 Osprey but wish it were a Classic!
