yea i definitely have learned about doing TLC on a boat...so is this the sender i should be using that i posted above? not sure how deep this tank is....
Instead of guessing, my thought would be to remove the existing sender and know for sure before you order.Is there some reason not to?
Also keep this in mind about fuel gauges themselves. They work on resistance, but are still electric gauges, so they need 12V power. DO NOT hook the sender lead (pink) up to the "I" post on the gauge, at it will fry the sender NOW! There is an "S" post, that's where it goes...I know we're talking senders here, but just a word of advice...
