She’s an inboard/outboard. Having trouble uploading photos. I’ll keeo at it until I’m successful:)
Going forward use this approach and upload your pix to your free folder in our gallery.  Attachments are limited to size while uploaded pix are not.

So it’s a 19-6 Osprey? I’ve been trying to figure it out for a bit now. Any idea where I could find an original manual for the boat and engine as well as sourcing for small parts like air scoops cushions railing ?

Doesn't really exist.
You'll need to "custom" many of your parts. You can get pretty close by searching the net.

Light reading.

I'm new to this forum and this is my first attempt to post. I've recently acquired a 1974 196 that I am in the process of restoring. I also own a restored 1974  170 that I have set up for Great Lakes Salmon fishing .  I will attempt to post some of short videos I have on the transom repair I've recently completed on the 196.  Cheers to all!

Hello....new to the board.. I am in the market for a new to me aquasport.  I have found a 02 19' osprey. I am located in Massachusetts. Anything in particular I should look out for concerning the boat. It has the original 115 hp johnson.
Sounds like it saw minimal use . 5 or 6 times a year.
What would be a good price on a boat like this?

Thanks for the link. Good information.
Boat prices are kind of all over the place.
Do most folks use the nada value as a base line?

OK for an idea/starting place but always remember with these older hulls and motors, they're only worth what someone is willing to pay. That stated, you as the buyer have a little more control over the price if you know just how much you want to spend. Also, pics and talk are one thing, actual inspection is totally different and will often but not always, lead to a lower price.

Good luck.

Hey guys, new here. Picked up this 1972 19-6 beginning of last year, love her. serial number E214. Transom and other fiberglass will need attention soon but for now she takes on whatever Cape Cod Bay / Nantucket Sound throws at her  :thumleft:

Hello fellow Captains, I just purchased an 1987 Aquasport Osprey 196. She has a Mercury 200hp black max. I call her my baby Yacht. I have had my beauty for about a month now. Ill supply my hull when i get to my boat!
