I am beginning from scratch and I am at the point of plumbing and electrical.  Any tips or do's or dont's concerning live well plumbing.  Through hull? through transom?

Angell, If you want to post a pic when you talk about your boat, which you should, follow the instructions here http://classicaquasport.com/smf/index.php?topic=12725.0  - don't attach them, this is better for viewing.
Spend a few minutes to absorb the instructions. It's really easy.

We really need more information in order to help you.  Are you rewireing and plumbing an existing livewell?  Are you plumbing and wiring an existing space like a console seat?  Are you adding a new livewell?

The type and quantity of bait you intend to keep is important too.  Livewell systems range from recirculating pumps, that are fine for a few dozen shrimp or a dozen pinfish, all the way up to pressurized systems that are the Cadillac for live chumming.

Thru hull pickup, thru hull discharge.  Running wiring depends on where the livewell is located.  If you're not rebuilding transom to enclose, leaning post livewell or livewell aft of post.  Other options of course, but you'll need to be descriptive w/what u want if expect helpful suggestions.
