270 XF Fuel Tanks

Hey Guy's I'm a newbie here ....
I am in the process of purchasing a 1986 270 XF and when I asked the owner about the fuel tanks he was not sure of the capacity but knew there where 2. Can anybody knowledgeable about this model tell me the capacity ?? and 1 other thing. He said each one fed each motor Individually... no cross line linking the two together? or a valve to switch from one to the other?  He said you alway have add fuel to both when you refuel? I find that strange, it has a bracket with twin Mercury 225 outboards.

Now, can anybody chime in the the inability to run both motor off one tank? Are there rally individual fuel lines for port and starboard engines?

It is a good thing that each engine feeds from its own tank.  That way if there’s a fuel issue like water in a tank, you can still get home on 1 engine.  You should be able to plumb in cross over valves to allow either engine to draw from either tank

I have a 290 and plumbed in crossover valves, can draw off either or both.
