1969 FB Rebuild (with original look-through plexi)

Looking forward to sharing this rebuild with you guys. The hull was literally a gift from user Joe Vinson. It sat in my back yard for 6 years (kids kept being born). My great friend, FABuck, convinced me not to give her away but instead give her some love. She's a mess now but there is a true beauty underneath the grime.
I dropped her off in Bradenton today and look forward to sharing the process with you all.
Buck, please help out this noob by posting some "before" pics.

Well this is a resurrection for sure.
Welcome back Hook.
I took the liberty of posting Joe's original photos as a start to your rebuild. Please continue to share progress with the Forum as this is a very early classic model.
Good luck.

OK Hook you got the pics down. This should start to get interesting.
Have to agree with SB. I sure don't know what type boat it is (mold) but it appears just a tad bigger than yours.
Good luck and keep posting.

She's a hottie
Good deal, congratulations, and welcome!
The windows were an option, the diver door was an option. A couple of members have both. From the old "Rudder" article posted here...Coburn states the viewing windows were bedded via a proprietary method. I'd sure do my best to keep them

Y'all check out Seaforce IX website - you will quickly figure out what the hull mold is used for.

Quite of bit of work has been done on the ol' girl since June.
You'll notice the transom has had some extensive work done it.....we made the decision to extend her two feet....that may not sit well with the AS purists on here but when I was given the option of making her 24' I jumped all over it. The exterior of the hull has been primed and is ready for paint. We purchased a new fuel tank, console (will return for a taller version) and seat/live well combo as you will see in the pics.
Seaforce IX guys have been incredible - and so has my great friend, FABuck.....thanks Buck for everything you've done so far!!!
I've tried three times to link the new pics from the member gallery but I'm having issues.....if you care to see the progress hop over to my gallery
