If you have a tester take out the inline fuse in the wire going from the perko switch up tot he panel.  See if you have voltage on the side going to the perko switch.  You may have the same problme I had on my 98 245 Explorer.  My switches would go dead now and then...  This is a pic of the back of my panel.  The white and black square things are the circuit breakers.  See how they are connected together by individual red jumpers?  Those are connected with piggyback spade connectors that were all corroded... so the further down you went the less voltage was available for each breaker.  Also in the top center you see a big blue connector.  That is a disconnect for the main feed that is notorious for going bad in time.  The second pic you can see how I rewired the panel by making a new feed that has single spade connectors for each circuit breaker,  that way there is a single continuous feed to all the breakers.  I'll bet you ware having a similar problem.  You may have to pull down that panel to get a better look at things.

Fixed it!
Thanks all for the suggestions.   Pulled the toggle panel back and figured out that the feed wire was disconnected somehow.  Interestingly, many of the other red connections are zipped in but that one was missing a zip.   No longer - reattached and zipped and now the toggles are working fine again!

Of course now I see that my float switch on the bilge is not working... always something...

For reference, here is the pic of the instrument panel pulled back.   The incoming feed is circled in red.

Cool!  good job!  I knew it was something simple.  you see where those little zip ties are holding the spade connectors together?  That was where I started to have trouble due to corrosion in the connectors.  In time if you find some of your accessories don't work... thats where to look!
