If you do the rebuild anything like the cradle, it'll be a stout boat. :thumleft:

Exactly..!! If the cradle is an indication of your work ethics the boat will turn out excellent.

Did you find any "strange" things inside the hull..? it's funny what you can find left behind..

Yeah i found about 30 empty 2liter soda bottles under the front floor and foam...i guess they didnt want to spend as much money on the foam and filled up space with them lol. I also found a bunch of random pieces of 2x4's and scrap wood. But on a positive i almost have all the dirt and stuff out of the boat and started getting inot the transom. The wood is falling apart so it should make the demo pretty easy.

Out of curiosity, just how thick do you think that transom was?

backdraft,

The good news with any rebuild...regardless of brand...when you get it cleaned out....you're basically left with a fiberglass skin.

At that point...forget the provenance of the former builder.  It makes no difference.

Get the  stringers right...and take it from there. Most of the rebuilds here show quality work.

Dismiss the "fast" ones. A rush job is always that.

Best to you on your build.
