Larry,
Just kind of a lotta cool chit to look at.  Some of it meaningful, some of it whatever, just to know that all that stuff came out of the bowels of the Hialeah and Sarasota plants...well, that's kinda cool...

Mine came today. :salut:
I'll start combing through and see what we don't have. When Rick gets back we can go over what is required to get this info on the site for everyone to see. As you have stated, for members like me, it is all so very cool. 8)

Thanks again and all our best to you and Maggie. :thumright:

Bob,
Thanks so much for the cd... what a wealth of info!  Why is it that the 1986 Osprey 250 (seen in my signature) seems to have no info anywhere?  No matter where I look there is nothing, especially compared to other models.  What was going on around that time at the plant??

Bob,
Thanks so much for the cd... what a wealth of info!  Why is it that the 1987 Osprey 250 (seen in my signature) seems to have no info anywhere?  No matter where I look there is nothing, especially compared to other models.  WHat was going on around that time at the plant??

Jay,
I have no clue.  In 1987 I was a supervisor on the TADS/PNVS system for the Apache Helicopter at Martin Marietta.  Boats were just recreation then...

To all that wanted a copy, Bruce, Bruce, Jason, and Kevin, your CDs are in the mail...

To all that have received a copy.  This info is by no means complete, and really seems to be a hodge podge of info thrown together by God knows who.  My friend Ron Adair, who works for Hydra-Sports CS, just happened to have this stuff given to him by a guy who works 4 Winns CS...so no real AS/WC involvement at all on a personal level.  That kind of explains why some stuff is on the CD, some isn't, some is old, some is new...

But I would imagine that if I was allowed into the archive area and files of the 4 Winns CS offices, I could find a WHOLE bunch of stuff that would pertain to just about everybody's boat here.  And I'm sure they wouldn't really have a problem with me snooping through their filing cabinets, as I have talked at length with a couple guys up there, really very helpful.

So if you guys ever want to send me up to Cadillac, MI (preferably in the summer!), maybe we can get the whole enchilada, Aquasport-wise...

Just received my CD today. Thank you very much. While the snow flies I'll have some time to do some research.

Thanks again.

New to forum. An amateur boat builder looking for a 22-2 to rebuild.  Done the seacraft thing and now looking at flatbacks.  Need more info on aquasport to make informed decision.

thanks,

The info on those CD was mostly all Genmar era boats.  Everything you want to know about the 22-2 flatbacks are here on this site.  Look in the Gallery section to start.

And then look in the rebuilds forums to see what it will take to rebuild one.

I would like to get one of your CD's if possible. I have a 1986 200 CC that I have had for about 6 years and have got it looking pretty good. Additional info is always handy. MIke A, 2618 W Strub Rd., Sandusky, OH 44870
Thanks

This is an old thread and Seabob is no longer on this site. I'm not sure if RickK has a CD but........

That CD dealt with Genmar hulls not the Hialeah hulls like yours. Have you looked in the Gallery forum? We have some docs concerning your hull.

Well, well, well....
I was digging through my CDs at work and lo and behold I found SB's CD. I'll make you a copy and send it out at my earliest convenience. I never really got deep into it and some folders may need "unzipping" in order to view or may not open at all.

Anyway, I'll copy and send out.
