I spoke with JD earlier today and he's fine.
Really appreciates the thoughts. :salut:

He's got going on what family men get caught up in this time of year (flu season) work (that's good really) and life in general (don't we know it  ). Before you realize, a month's gone by and you haven't wasted any time on CAS. Been there, done that so......

He'll be comin' around to update and just keep on livin' life, which is all we really need to ask for at the end of the day.

Transom has been installed and I will post some pictures later this evening.  Transom was shot as I figured and the bracket that "big Mike" made me was a great design and served it's purpose according to my transom guy (Doug).  Thanks again "big Mike" for the bracket that bought me some extra time.

Doug said that the stringers look great and the foam in both stringers were dry when he dug out the transom.  I am meeting with Doug today to finalize the new design minus the splashwell.  Basically going with Bondobill's design with just a few changes.

Had some beers with Gonefission last night.  He gave me some great suggestions going forward.  I am doing away with the original deck drains, scuppers, and hoses and having the water from the cockpit drain out the transom.  Thanks for that suggestion Gonefission :thumright:

I will get some pictures uploaded tonight.

Changing out the scuppers to drain out the transom is one thing I wish I would have done.
Great idea   GF  :salut:

Here are the first round of photos.  Doug and I were both amazed that all the foam between the stringers are bone dry    No wet foam found at all from what has been removed.  Stringers look great and the foam in threre is bone dry as well.  No moisture in back end of the boat at all.  That makes this project and expense   all worth the while :)

You can see the dry foam under deck in this shot

Bye Bye to this!!

Thru hull below waterline has been removed and will be glassed over since cockpit will now drain through transom

Looking good JD...like the idea for doing away with the floor drains ,one less thing to worry about. What was transom made of?
Great that all your foam is dry  probably not to many out there that can say that. :thumright:
