Hi, I'm looking at a 1984 Aquasport 222 osprey with a HID number i can't trace. I just want to make sure i'm not missing anything. The number is ASPK2508M84F-OB. Does that make sense?/ Thanks, South River

Where are you seeing that number? On the hull or on the title / registration? I would get rid of the - OB

The F-OB part does not make sense. Usually the last two numbers are the year and the ASP prefix is the manufacturer.

The letter (F) after the year (84) indicates the month (Jan).

In 84 my CCP ended in an E (Dec).

OB......Outboard??????

Can't recall seeing that before.

The number is on the hull on a metal strip.
