in short- Nope.
the shades and colors will vary a lot, and trying to match the color of any gelcoat from a 1974 is going to be extremely hard with paint. you could get "close" with mixing your own gelcoat, but even then it will be tough.
most people go back with a Matterhorn white or Hatteras White I think for a similar color.
where on your boat are you trying to paint or touch up?
