cupholders
« on: July 29, 2010, 06:07:50 PM »
I have a 2002 215 Explorer that I need to replace the cupholder / storage box that is mounted on the bulkhead beside the captains seat. Does anyone know if aquasport molded these or did they outsource them. I've tried to find them ,but keep hitting dead ends
Thanks

None of those pictured are what I have, the ones that are in my boat are approximately 18 x12 with a seperate molded plastic copholder that is screwed to the housing. Thanks for your help.

There is a guy on CM making cupholders and binoc holders out of starboard. They look really nice, he uses a CNC machine.

I am going to bump this thread since I am not sure if anyone updated an answer, and I am looking for one.

Yesterday someone's big cup broke one of my inserts that had a cubby for stuff and a cup holder. There was crack in it, so it did not take much for them to break it completely out. I am not by my boat to take a picture, so I found a picture from a video from it's sister vessel the Wellcraft 210 coastal. Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement plastic piece? See attached photo.

The insert is 12"x20" and about 5 inches deep at the bottom but tapers on the top.

I found these (or at least 1) and posted the link in another thread. I'm nowhere near my computer so I can't  find it now.
I'll  be back this weekend. The vendor/seller had either a left or right one but not both. My response to the member was to buy the one theyhad and then have it reproduced.
This wasn't that long ago. I believe it was for a 215 EX. The thread is somewhere on this Forum.
