Hoses connected to lower electronics box on 1995 Osprey 225
« on: March 02, 2020, 08:18:42 PM »
Newbie here to the site. Just purchased a 1995 Osprey 225 w/Yamaha 200. In process off putting new floor in. T-top is off, leaning post and now onto console. Saw two water type hoses running to lower storage box in console. What are they? A drain if water gets in the box or a vent? Any help would be appreciated.

Pics would help.
They may be for the optional head up front ??? :ScrChin:

Hopefully an Osprey owner will chime in.

Is your Yammie a 2-stroke?  Is the oil tank in the console?  Could be the oil supply and pressurization lines.

If they are water type hose, then they could be the drains that go to the bottom of the two cup holders.
At least that's what my 2001 has.

Thanks for the replies. I will post some pictures. The hoses connect to the bottom of the box in front of the steering wheel. As I finish removing the console I will follow them. No cup holders on console, nothing to do with fresh water pump. Also, oil tank is aft.
