explorer 225 fish box

This thing always has water in it.   The pump isn't low enough to completely drain it.   Parked on the trailer it gets full from rain water.  Anyone ever drill a drain hole to let it drain to the bilge?  Pics please to give me an idea and exact location.
Suggestions? ?

Perfect! I knew I couldnt be the only one who found this little flaw.  I decided for me the easist way to fix this would be to leave the original pump in place and put a small drain plug in I found at West Marine.  I just wanted to make sure this wouldnt mess something up?

I do like the access plate for the bilge area, any idea what they cut that with?  Large hole saw?  Jig Saw?  By hand with some type of key hole saw?

MJ, you can use a variety of tools.  Jigsaw, roto-tool, air body saw, it's a relatively easy access area, just tape off the area to cut to keep from chipping the gelcoat.  You want to use a fine toothed blade...
