I have a '83 170 with a Johnson 115 2 stroke, loaded with gear I get 42MPH wide open. On calm days I have a hard time keeping the RPM's under 4k.

'76 170 with '98 Yam 115 2 stroke tops out between 42-44mph @5400. Seems like this is the 170 common top speed with a 115hp.

I had a 200 on my old 200 osprey, saw 57 mph one time
