Sorry, I had class last night after work so I didnt do any emailing or web surfing.  Yeah, my boat looks just like it but have seen them called family fishers also, or something like that.  I will email one or two when I get home from work today.  None of it torn apart as it is hard for me to stomach it still.  I will send a pic of it on the water.
Here is a link to it. http://2coolfishing.com/ttmbforum/attac ... 0567&stc=1

yeah that is a before picture.  The only difference there will be to it is twin motors and a paint job when I am done.  Stuff that I will notice is a durabak painted deck and redesigned console layout with gauges and the wood will be gone and replaced with starboard.  the transom was already closed in with a single motor(250) on a bracket before.

Ok guys, I'm gonna expose my ignorance here.  What does CCP stand for?  I've guessed Center Console, Cuddy Cabin, but can't put the "P" on anything.  (I'll be over there in the corner waiting...... :? )

222 center console professional (ccp) vs other 222s
« Reply #14 on: March 05, 2005, 02:13:18 PM »
OK, I have in my hot little hands a photocopy of a promotional brochure from Aquasport in 1986 that talks about three 222 models. One is the Center Console Professional, one is the 222 Osprey and one is the 222 sandpiper. Here are some dead give-away clues to help you know which is which.

The CCP and the Osprey are both center console boats but the CCP has the recessed safety rail, while that of the Osprey rises well above the bow.

The Sandpiper, on the other hand is a dual-console boat (the controls are on the starboard side and a sink was built-in on the port side) and it has the walk-through windshield for access to the bow of the boat.

As our history project gets started, I will post the entire brochures, which include specs, for example, length (obviously the same for all three), beam, draft AND deadrise.
