RARE 1979 restored 200 CCP
« on: December 20, 2017, 09:25:05 AM »
Rare. You will not find one like this anywhere. I found this beauty in Central Florida tucked away since 1984! Owners spouse passed away and he never used it agian. I have completely redone this classic 20 CCP. No soft spots in hull, deck or transom. 4 month old New Peterson tandem custom trailer w/ spare tire designed for this deep V hull. 2017 Suzuki 4-stroke 200HP (50 hours). All TEAK was in great condition just needed to be refinished, Done! New bimini top. New TEAK swim platform and much more. Captain chairs replaced with New rocket launcher. This is a must see to appreciate. I have over $30k in it.
Check the pics and let me know when u would like a sea trial by Siesta Key....

What is your asking price? Many of these boats have far more invested than true value. It's a nice rig for sure but it still has original stringers and floor. I appreciate the 2017 Zuke and the upgrades as a driver for a price but you have no asking price.

I'm shocked the stern is not sitting much lower with that Zuki on the back.

The newer 4-stroke Zuki 4 cylinder DF200A engine is surprisingly light for 200 HP.  509 lbs on the transom ain't bad!   :72:

There is so much conflicting information on the weight of the motor.  I can remember seeing the 509 figure as well as a 479 figure for the 150 and 175 built on the same platform.  Now, Suzuki lists the weights of the 200 as Mechanical Shift: L: 518 X: 529 / Drive By Wire: L:520 X:531  it’s easy to dismiss each additional 20 pounds as insignificant, but the CCP was designed for a two stroke engine weighing about 375 lbs.   it’s mind boggling. :scrHead:
