Stringers have 4 layers of glass over the sides where our cuts were made and there's two layers of glass on the inside of the the transom where the cutout was :

Corners filleted ready for the epoxy tie in layer :

Laid glass on the new deck where the angled part of the old splashwell was :

We'll pull the form off the transom, refill the stringers with foam, add a couple layers of epoxy tomorrow,  make the cuts on the splashwell tomorrow and hopefully glue the new deck in tomorrow into the splashwell

And the progress continues.
The wiring is nearly complete
I stretched the gunnel sides where the splashwell was to mate with the new floor near the transom nd i cut out the  hump in the floor. I drilled all the holes for the bracket and temporarily test fit everything.
New batteries are installed and built a shelf in the bilge for the starting battery.
I removed the windshield from both sides and sprayed duratec on the helm console, cabin hatch, and the roof of the cabin on both sides. All shiny now   :57:
Been pretty busy and haven't had much time to post pictures so I took this rainy day to upload and share.

Cabin roof after duratec

Cabin hatch with new duratec

Test fitting gunnel sides and rear deck before gunnel side stretching

Used a piece of melamine to stretch the gunnel sides started by screwing it down and taping it off for the gelcoat and chop strand mat

Applied gelcoat and CSM

Looks good Levi.  I rotated some of your pics - if they still seem the same, just refresh the page.
When you upload pics and look at them, you can edit them easily by clicking "Edit picture" in the gallery.  Just remember to click "Submit changes" when done.

When you mention "Duratec" are you mixing gelcoat and duratec 50/50?  That's what I did on the inside of my boat.

Yea Rick 50/50 Duratec and gelcoat shot from one of those cheap harbor freight HVLP guns. If you buy the $7 warranty and theyll replace it free of charge no questions asked for 5 years they also do an excellent job of spraying PVA for molds.
I can't wait to see this thing in action seeing the back deck in i realized just how much fishing room this thing will have! From the transom forward to the cabin is 15 feet and the deck width is 7'.
Thanks for rotating the pictures I rotated a few and they still came out wrong in the post probably some sort of glitch with my phone because I saved the changes?
Oh and I made an uh oh so if anyone is interested in a set of fiberglass garboard covers for your 246 to replace the tired old teak ones I can pop out the port side from my mold and finish the starboard side . They are of the original dimensions and are too narrow for what I'm trying to do but will replace the original ones perfectly.

looking good levi. I'm working on converting my 246 FF to a custom center console. I'm getting close to a full transom replacement and might have some questions for you. been following to see how yours is going. First I'm adding bulkheads to help beef up the boat before I remove the transom to keep some structure to the boat since I no longer have a top cap.
