Drain/Vent on hull

I've been wondering what exactly this is? I would assume some type of vent or drain. Anyone know? Thanks!

Its going to be your fuel tank vent. It could also be a fresh water tank vent if your boat has water tank.

If the fuel cap is above the general area then its the vent.  Next time you fuel up, place your hand over vent while pumping....if you feel air blowing out it's the vent.

You should put a vent cover over that.  It's prone to getting water in there.  One of the best things I did on my boat was replace the vent with a flush, Gemlux vent thanks to someone on here who showed me gemlux products
