Mine is a '73 and it's not a flatback.  I think it was '72.

Mine is supposed to be a 72 (no Hull ID #- I think they started in 73) and it has a slight deadrise at the stern.  I would guess it is about 12 degrees.  I assume a flat back was absolutely flat across the bottom at the transom right?

Mine is an 81 and it has a 14^ angle as per measurement for my bracket.
