So I got my 175 sandblasted this year to remove 30 years of bottom paint. It came out great, now I just need to wait until it's warm enough to touch up problem areas with Marine Tex, barrier coat, and paint on a few layers of antifouling. Which doesn't appear to be happening soon as it's now April 3rd and 32 degrees outside.
My question is-Could there be harm to launching my boat and fishing a day without any barrier coat? I will post pictures shortly today. The idea is there are some tides I want to fish, which will likely happen before the air temperature rises to between 50-70 long enough for me to paint for a few days.
