light at the end of the tunnel 245 Osprey
« on: June 29, 2010, 10:03:47 PM »
Thought I would post a few pictures of the completed 245 Osprey project.  It's been 9 months since I bought her in Savannah with a blown 225 Ocean Runner.  A lot of new wiring, and still some more like the battery cables which I tried to cheat on, and used #4 moving the batts to the console.... ehhh.... try again.... I ordered #1 AWG from genuinedealz.com the other night, so I have to pull those through and should end my voltage drop issue.  Then figure out my boot stripe, but overall she is a sweet ride.  After the bottom re-paint with the Interlux VC Performance epoxy with teflon, I picked up between 4 and 5 MPH.. It is some hard and slick stuff, not even oil will stick to it..... <!-- s:cheers: --><!-- s:cheers: -->  Put about 20 miles on her this past Sunday cruising the bay and just off the beach, the weather and water was beautiful, no major oil to be seen, but a lot of workers around.  I may not get to head off shore for the big fishing right now, but as long as the water is like this, I will be cruising with a cold one.
