need 170 forward center hatch

looking for a center forward hatch for a 1973 170 but I'm pretty sure other years will fit also. located in Wilmington,nc

If you don’t want to buy new, try your local marine salvage dealer.

Sorry Armondo, you won't be able to "new" - you might find someone that will make you one.
Another option is to make one yourself. If you have basic carpentry skills you can make it yourself. I think on the '73 (maybe '72?) the casting deck was divided into 3 hatches from one large one.
Here are some pics of what the lids are made like




Here is the cleaned up lid


You can see the outer edges of the lid. It is easy to build your own by making a mold from 1x2s on a sheet of melamine (think inverse). Lay in 2 or 3 layers of 1708 and you can use wood or composite as the backer. Then cover that with a couple layers of 1708. Pretty simple.
I know you're trying to match the factory non-skid and some have found a pattern tool but I don't remember what it was.
