Fish Box pump out
« on: March 30, 2019, 03:03:57 PM »
Hey Guys, I have an Osprey 245 TM and the fishbox is forever filling up with rainwater...I'm guessing, and the fish box pump will not pump out the water anymore. It motor runs but does not pump so I'm assuming the the pump is shot. Here is my dilema, I'm a big guy and can't for the life of me figure out how to get to it to remove, replace. Has anyone run into this before, and how did you solve it? I get the feeling it's something I am overlooking. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Also, is there suppose to be seals in the lid of fishbox to keep rainwater out, Mine has none.

Time for the fishbox mod!  :dancing:

No gaskets were on the lid. Also depends on what lid you have. There were three different designs that I know of. One giant single piece lid. Then a two piece or a three piece hinged style.
