There weren't a whole bunch of 196 owner/members back then - now they're everywhere

All I see are center consoles.... I have a 1979 19.6 FF with a I/O . Does that count?

I Live in San Diego, CA and no one knows of old Aquasports here in So Cal!

I have owned it for 20 years, and still use it all the time for fishing.

Cool! Whats your HIN and I'll add it to the list. Do you have any pics? I have a copy of Motorboat magazine from Dec 79 with an ad in it with your boat listed. As soon as the gallery is working I'll post the ad.

It looks like photobucket changed uploading pics. Has anyone else noticed this? I had to bring up the individual pic then click on img to get it to copy. Aquasport79 do you have a photobucket acount? If not start one, then follow Rickks excellent directions on how to paste from there to your post.

Here are some pictures of my "Rare California" 1979 Aquasport 19.6 FF I/O.

I use it  for Fishing in the ocean out of San Diego. A Usual trip would be going 20 -25 miles offshore and into Mexican waters to fish for yellowtail jacks and different kinds of tuna's.
