1992 Explorer 250 wiring diagram.
« on: October 04, 2017, 08:09:35 PM »
I’ve looked, searched and to no luck. I am needing a wiring diagram for a 1992 250 Explorer. I’m rebuilding mine and the wires are shot. I would love for someone to be able to tell me what switch goes to what in the dash.  All of my labeling is gone.  Thank you in advance for your time.

Your not going to find a wire diagram They just don't exist. You might find some partial ones on this forum posted by seabob.  Unfortunately with the photobucket changing it's third party hosting many of the pics are gone now. On a positive note Aquasport used the standard NMMA wiring color codes though.

Here are few links that will get you an idea:

I have a 225 explorer but i believe the owner's manual was the same for most of the models. Here is a copy of the wire color code from my owners manual. Not sure if that will help or not. I ended up tracing each wire and replacing the corroded wires as I went along.

I have a 275 Explorer that has my switch panel labels still?  Does this help, or is that a dumb idea?

The unlabeled one at the bottom right is the Head Pump out Macerator. I have a plan to redo this panel in white...
