Howdy to all. I just recently purchased an aquasport 246ccp(?) and was hoping to touch base with other aquasport owners who might be able to point me in the right direction as far as the best places to get repair parts, factory specifications, etc. This boat was rebuilt and restored into a cuddy cabin walkaround fishing platform and the previous owner did a bangup good job from all I can see, but there are a few things I may want to replace and/or fix, ie the livewells just aft of the cockpit(the smaller ones that serve as steps to get to the front). It has twin 140 HP johnson outboards mounted to it. Anyhow, if anyone can help me out, I sure would appreciate it!

How very very cool is that to see my lady being reborn! Wow, sure makes you respect her more to see 1sthand all of the work that went into making her what she is now. thanks a bunch for that link!!! oh and Richard, I believe that all that is wrong with that RH trim/tilt is a case of low fluids and perhaps a leaky seal on the tilt shaft. I am gonna be workin on trying to fix that as soon as I can get to it. Just so you know, I got the motors runnin today and i think the bad gas is all but gone. They were idling smooth and pretty this afternoon. a couple of minor tweaks on the linkages to get  em back in line together and I think we are set. Man I cant wait to get her in the water!

Lewis,  guess you will have to add a TX to that acronym cause i am from Texas, i wondered if it was for Atlanta just wasnt sure.  and Richard, just think how you will feel when you got that 290 in your driveway. It will be a cool watching you put it back together! Good morning all.

Sure wish I could go, but man! One fast trip across the country is enough for a little while.

Richard, I was hopin you could help me out on the engines... I can't seem to make the electric chokes on either engine ( when you push in the key you should hear the valves close). Did you wire them in and did they work before? If so maybe I got a wire loose somewhere. I was hopin maybe you could shed some light on it. Also, there are a couple of switches I don't know what they do. On the left side of the panel just left of the momentary switch that you said was an emergency power switch (by the way would you explain operation of that again?) there's an on/off rocker switch that I can't figure out what it goes to. Any help would be appreciated

Tony, The chokes workd fine for me, I pushed key in and the would kick in , I know that the choke has something to do with that Round mechanisam behind the throttel set up on motor that has a small lever on it.
