Question about fuse box in the pic (97 explorer)
« on: May 22, 2014, 04:39:36 AM »
sorry to have lifted the pic, but I cant get my phone to take a decent one.

The labels on mine are faded pretty bad, but I know the bottom 2 fuses power the fore and aft float switch's.

The 40 amp breaker has an orange wire running to the helm but not hooked to anything. Any guess as to what it would have hooked up to?

The top right fuse label is too faded to read and I cant find where it's wire runs to. Any guesses on that one?

thanks,
Phil

The orange wire is for the trim tabs (option), that is switched hot.  The fuse holder you can't read is for stereo memory (option), it's a yellow wire and is constant hot...

Corner of 520 and A1A...

thanks. I saw in another thread where I asked about bilge pump power, wingtime posted his fuse box and it showed the labels well.

I definitely need a stereo memory feed, as hitting up and down is a real pain.
