Well did it again
« on: August 18, 2010, 07:41:18 PM »
Well guys I’m addicted. I have my 1981 222ccp and just bought a 1972 19’6” aquasport. Just couldn’t pass it up. I’ll post some pic’s once I take some. I’m hoping some one here may know more about this boat or who may have done the work. The guy I bought it from couldn’t remember the guy he got it froms name. Some one  all ready did some work on her. The  transom was replaced and raised to 25” for about 18”. Then the rest was raised to just under the gunnel rails.  The gas tank was also replaced. Over all she looks good. It could be used as is. But like a true addict. I’ll make a few changes. I have learned from the past. This could be a beauty and the beast. I'll see once I get into looking closer.

Post you HIN in the registry thread and Ill add it in.

I too would like to have two, the 19-6 for the inshore and a larger one yet to be determined if I want to run offshore.

Here are some pic’s. If anybody recognizes the work and who did it. Let me know. I want  to find out what was used in the rework. As for the alum. At the transom. It really doesn’t add to the structure, so I’m guessing it their just for mounting .

Yep thats why i bought this boat had one for off shore. Needed one for the back bays in my area. Something that could get me in sallow and up close and personal, with some fish that have it to easy. i've got to try and catch them and give them some exsersize. Their gettting to fat with no one fishing for them bwahahahaha
